This 2013 Barolo Riserva ‘Villero’ from Vietti, particularly with the intriguing ‘Una Tigre Alla Menta’ designation, promises a complex and powerful experience. On the nose, expect intense aromas of ripe red cherries, dried roses, licorice, and classic tar, underpinned by distinctive herbal notes of mint or eucalyptus, characteristic of the Villero cru. The palate will be full-bodied with firm, structured tannins and vibrant acidity, showcasing flavors of red fruit, earth, spice, and balsamic nuances. The finish is long, persistent, and evolves with layers of complexity, hinting at great aging potential.
