The Original Conti Roll! What began in the 1950s, with customers breaking open their bread rolls and filling them with freshly sliced meats inspired the creation of the Re Store Roll! Originally, John Re saw this as a way to economically use up the ends of salami, ham and mortadella. However, the Re Store Roll rapidly grew in popularity. In 1966, when we expanded and moved across the road to what is now The Re Store Northbridge, John Re dedicated a proper lunch counter dedicated to the Re Store Roll. Since then, the ‘Conti Roll’ has long been satisfying the lunch cravings of Western Australian’s and beyond.
