Four years’ ageing in oak has given this Calvados tempting notes of caramelised apple and toasty spice, as well as a clean, fruit-driven nose. This would be ideal served with fruity desserts or as a between-course palate-cleanser (known as a ‘Trou Normand’ in France) during a meal.
