This 12-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky presents an inviting aroma of honey, light citrus, and a hint of gentle smoke, complemented by notes of dried fruits, vanilla, and a touch of nuttiness from its sherry cask maturation. On the palate, it is smooth and medium-bodied, revealing an initial sweetness of caramel and vanilla, followed by subtle smoky undertones, a delicate spice, and a well-integrated oak influence. The finish is medium to long, warming, with lingering sweetness and a whisper of smoke.
The core of the Jura range, aged for 12 years in bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry. The result blends the distillery’s characteristic gently smoky character with sweetness, spice and dark fruit. A great introduction to Jura.
