This VSOP agricole rum from Habitation St Etienne has been matured in both ex-bourbon and French-oak casks. The nose has a rich, candied fruit character, with aromas of apricots, peaches and cantaloupe melon balanced by bitter almond and caramel. The palate initially offers notes of buttery coffee, fresh pastries and sweet fruits, slowly developing hints of warm spices, vanilla and rich oak.
