Devaux Champagne was founded in 1846 and one of Champagne’s leading ladies, Madame Augusta Devaux, was credited with transforming the quality of the house. Devaux specialises in Champagnes that are Pinot Noir dominated, although for this vintage the blend is 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. The wine has notes of candied peel, peach cobbler and apple crumble.
