Chateau Musar’s single vineyard red is from old, low-yielding Cinsault, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon vines near the Bekaa Valley village of Aana, 1000m above sea level. Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months, and made in a non-interventionist way, this rich spicy wine has aromas and flavours of plums, cherries, figs and dates, with hints of thyme.
