This Port Charlotte 10 Year old has been conceived, distilled, matured and bottled on Islay alone. It’s peated to 40ppm, and drawn from a combination of first fill American whiskey casks, second-fill American whiskey casks and second-fill French wine casks. Alongside a pair of stylish branded Bruichladdich glasses you can enjoy the whisky from. Bruichladdich is based on the utterly wonderful Hebridean isle of Islay and is incredibly proud of it too, promoting much of this Island and what it has to offer on their website. All their whiskies use only Scottish Barley (it’s called Scotch for a reason as they say) and are born and created to reflect the character and history of Islay. Their presentation is cracking too. Robust, peaty and fruity demeanour that slides down beautifully.
